About AK Computer
AK Computer provides enterprise IT asset recovery and responsible e-waste lifecycle services across India, from Mumbai — built for procurement, audit and security teams from day one.
Why this business
Every organisation with an IT estate eventually has hardware it no longer needs: a rack coming out of a data centre, a fleet of laptops after a refresh, a store room that has filled with equipment nobody wants to be responsible for. The market that serves this need in India is largely built around collection — a vehicle, a weight, a price.
What enterprises actually need is accountability: proof of what left the building, where the data-bearing media went, whether anything of value was recovered, and a record that stands up when audit, procurement or a sustainability team asks about it a year later.
AK Computer exists to provide that. Not as a slogan, but as a process in which each stage produces a document, and each document reconciles with the last. That is the whole business.
Operating principles
Scope, schedule, commercial basis and media instruction are agreed in writing before a collection. Every stage after that produces a record that reconciles with the one before it.
A working asset is worth more as itself than as material. We assess before we route anything, and the disposition record shows which path each item took.
If a scope needs a capability we do not have, a standard we cannot meet, or a location we cannot reach, you will hear it before you commit — not after collection.
Client references, certifications and downstream partners are published only when they can be verified. What you see on this site is what we can stand behind in a procurement review.

Send a scope and see how the first reply reads. If it is not more useful than what you have received elsewhere, you have lost nothing.
